eBay Search

You can find items by:
Browsing - If you don't know exactly what you want give browsing a go. Pick a
Category of interest, then just explore. It's just that simple. Let say you want a book, you like Fantasy but you can't think of an author or a book title off the top of your head. All you do is find the Category listings, select Books then select the Fantasy sub-category. Here you will find 100 of Fantasy books that you can go through at your leisure.
To find items by browsing categories:
1) On the left side of the eBay home page, click on the category that interests you. A list of sub-categories is displayed. To see a list of all the categories, click the "see all eBay categories" link.

2) On the category page, click on the sub-category link. A page of category listings displays.
3) If you see an item you're interested in, click on the item title. An item page is displayed with the seller's description of the item, and you can bid on the item or buy it right away (if the Buy It Now option is offered).
More Tips can be found in
eBay's Help section.
Searching - If you know exactly what you want use the search function found on the eBay main page. Search for items when you are looking for a specific item that you can describe using a few words. Looking for the Dragonlance Chronicles? Just enter "Dragonlance Chronicles " into the search function, hit enter and you will find all the auction listings for the books.
To find items by searching:
1) In the Search Box, located in the top right corner of most eBay pages, enter a few words that describe the item. (These are called keywords.)
2) Click the Search button. A page of eBay listings displays. Your search results include items that have all of your search words in the title of the item listing.
3) Review your search results pages. If you see an item you're interested in, click on the item title. An item page is displayed with the seller's description of the item, and you can bid on the item or buy it right away (if the Buy It Now option is offered).
