You
can find items by:
Browsing - If you don't
know exactly what you want give browsing a go. Pick
a Category
of
interest, then just explore. It's just that simple.
Let say you want a book, you like Fantasy but you
can't think of an author or a book title off the top
of your head. All you do is find the Category
listings, select Books
then select
the Fantasy
sub-category. Here you will find 100 of Fantasy books
that you can go through at your leisure.
To
find items by browsing categories:
1) On the left side of the eBay home page, click on
the category that interests you. A list of sub-categories
is displayed. To see a list of all the categories,
click the "see all eBay categories" link.
2)
On the category page, click on the sub-category link.

3) If you see an item you're interested in, click
on the item title. An item page is displayed with
the seller's description of the item, and you can
bid on the item or buy it right away (if the Buy It
Now option is offered).

Searching
- If you know exactly what you want use the search
function found on the eBay main page. Search for items
when you are looking for a specific item that you
can describe using a few words. Looking for the Dragonlance
Chronicles? Just enter "Dragonlance Chronicles
" into the search function, hit enter and you
will find all the auction listings for the books.
To
find items by searching:
1) In the Search Box, located in the top right corner
of most eBay pages, enter a few words that describe
the item. (These are called keywords.)
2) Click the Search button. A page of eBay listings
displays. Your search results include items that have
all of your search words in the title of the item
listing.
3) Review your search results pages. If you see an
item you're interested in, click on the item title.
An item page is displayed with the seller's description
of the item, and you can bid on the item or buy it
right away (if the Buy It Now option is offered).
